Psychologists Respond to Bicol Calamity

A group of 39 psychologists went to Bicol after it was devastated by typhoon Reming as part of the Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan AGAP-BICOL psychosocial services support project. The volunteers conducted training sessions in debriefing to empower local nurses, rural health workers, NGO and church volunteers. There was also a debriefing for the diocese staff who were physically and emotionally drained from the relief operations.

All Roads Lead to Bohol

In August 16-18, 2007, the PAP will make history as it holds its first Annual Convention outside Metro Manila at the Metrocentre Hotel and Convention Center, Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The 44th Annual Convention will be co-sponsored by the University of Bohol, and will have the theme “One Philippine Psychology: Unity amid Diversity.”
